Xpress Power Talks: Love Series #2 Strength & Confidence

October 27, 2021

“Love for our neighbors. Love for the least among us. Love for those who look different or worship differently. Love for those we don’t even know.” That is genuine. John Legend.

“Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get–only with what you are expecting to give–which is everything.”

–Katharine Hepburn.

Webster: Love: IT’S Having a strong affection for another arising out

of kinship such AS personal ties or HAVING love for a sibling or grandparent.

In a marriage or dating relationship: NOTE: Being loving does Not mean to Not be strong.

It doesn’t mean to accept Abuse or to Abuse.

In fact: being able to show love is a sign of strength and confidence.

Instead of being mean or abusive: show love by being tender and understanding.

Here’s a familiar word just ” Listen” to the other person.

WHAT IS LOVE?

October 27, 2021

•a feeling of deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone, •”they were both in love with EACH OTHER. •affectionate greetings conveyed to someone on one’s behalf. •”give the family my love” •affectionate greetings conveyed to someone on one’s behalf. •”give Aunt Deloris  my love” •a formula for ending an affectionate letter. •”take care, lots of love, Donte”

To Love: is  to “Encourage Freedom, To Respect &  Let life Be”  Rabiah

GOT-A-ATTITUDE by Kae

Your attitude towards failure determines your altitude after failure. John Maxwell

“The Winning Attitude” John C. Maxwell. ISBN: 08407-4377-712. paperback $12.99.

I’ve Got -A-Attitude about this book. It is a must read. “Haven’t we all noticed “the pout” of the sulked, or “the jutted jaw” of the determined individual”? I agree that of all the things we wear, our expression is the most important. # Your Attitude Affects Your Altitude.

I Got-A- Attitude about my job: In 2000, no promotion! long drive! Selfish people! Nothing changed until I changed. My attitude choice added to the problems at work and hindered my altitude: my elevation, promotion. Something had to change. I changed the way I viewed my self and my work.

My New Attitude: developed new skills, studied my craft, created a dream board.

I began to examine how I viewed myself. I stopped complaining. I read “The Winning Attitude. Made my Affirmations: “I will be promoted”, I will be on time, I will stop my negative talk. Guess what happened? I now have a new position, with an amazing salary increase.
